Capabilities
Anyone can cut a panel. What fails on overseas packages is the translation between a designer's intent and a factory's understanding — and the discipline to stop and check before cutting. That translation is our actual product.
01 · Engineering
Our engineering team works from your architectural set — plans, elevations, sections, finish schedules and door schedules — and turns it into fabrication-level drawings showing core build-up, veneer layon, edge details, hardware positions and site-fixing methods.
Before that, we issue a written review of the drawing package: what is dimensioned, what is not, where two details clash, and what we need to price it properly. You get this before a price, not after.
Typical turnaround: drawing review in 48 hours; full shop drawing set in 5–8 working days.
02 · Manufacturing
A single workshop cannot do joinery, stainless steel, stone, terrazzo and upholstery well. Rather than pretend otherwise, we coordinate a fixed network of specialist workshops we have worked with for years — and hold the engineering and quality control ourselves.
Veneer layon, flitch matching, solid timber frames, coffered ceilings and staircases. Humidity-controlled assembly area.
Laser cutting, CNC punching, 5-axis routing, bending and welding in aluminium and stainless. PVD and powder coating lines.
5 mm veneer lamination to honeycomb, book-matched slab selection, edge profiling and dry-lay before crating.
Precast terrazzo panels, cast glass and solid surface — moulds made to your profile, polished to specified sheen.
Contract-grade foam and fabric, CAL TB 117 compliant, with frame testing on seating before batch release.
All disciplines packed to one load plan, so a hotel package arrives as a calculated number of containers, not an accidental one.
03 · Quality control
Quality control is not an inspection at the end. It is five separate decisions, each of which can stop production:
1. Incoming material. Veneer batch, board grade and coating lot checked against the approved sample.
2. First article. One full unit built and reviewed in detail against the shop drawing.
3. Mock-up approval. Representative bay or tread run photographed or shipped for sign-off.
4. In-process. Dimension and finish checks at agreed intervals during the run.
5. Pre-shipment. Full inspection report with photo set, issued before crating begins.
You receive the report and photographs whether or not you ask for them.
04 · Packing & logistics
A flawless panel can arrive ruined. Finishes mark, edges crush and moisture warps — almost always in the last two weeks of a project's life, not the first two.
Our packing standard: ISPM-15 heat-treated crates, foam and corner board on every finished edge, moisture barrier with desiccant, and internal bracing so panels cannot shift. Loading plans are drawn per container, not improvised at the dock.
We ship FOB Shenzhen / Yantian or CIF to your port, and can work with your freight forwarder or nominate one.
05 · Compliance
| Standard | Scope | Requirement | Our position |
|---|---|---|---|
| ASTM E84 | Surface burning characteristics | Class A, FSI ≤ 25 | Class A on specified build-ups |
| TSCA Title VI | Formaldehyde, EPA 40 CFR 770 | ≤ 0.05 ppm | Compliant composite cores |
| CARB Phase 2 | Formaldehyde, California | ≤ 0.05 ppm | Compliant composite cores |
| EN 13501 | Reaction to fire, EU | B-s1,d0 / A2-s1,d0 | Available on specified cores |
| FSC | Chain of custody | FSC Mix / FSC 100% | On request, lead time applies |
| ISPM-15 | Wood packaging | Heat treatment + mark | Standard on all crates |
| CAL TB 117-2013 | Upholstery flammability | Smoulder resistant | Standard on seating foam |
| ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 | Management systems | Third-party certified | Certified since 2013 |
Test reports are available for download on request, without a sales call. Where a project requires a standard we cannot meet, we will say so before quotation rather than after.
Send it over. A written review costs nothing and often saves a whole revision cycle.
